“Whiskey Painters of America” painting by, Luke Buck On this painting of a buffalo, it seemed only fitting & proper to use “Buffalo Trace, Kentucky bourbon whiskey” as the vehicle for my watercolors. I was inspired by the illustration of a buffalo on the label of a bottle of Buffalo Trace Bourbon. Not wanting to duplicate their logo I used reference from photos that I took at a buffalo farm in Southern Indiana, not far from the actual “buffalo trace migration trail” that spans from Clarksville, Indiana, to Vincennes, Indiana. |
